Welcome to My Letter Mom.

It is our hope that you will enjoy the experience of honoring the Mom in your life while writing your thoughts in a letter.  In addition to your Mom seeing your appreciation in print, her legacy will live on through the My Letter To Mom series of books and will be available for all Moms to read and take advantage of as they raise their children.

A new volume of My Letter to Mom will be printed with each collection of 200 letters.  Over the course of the year we will review the letters and create a “Best of the best” version that will be published in a hard back book entitled “How to be a Great Mom…It's all in the Little Things” – look for it in the spring of 2009.

Here's how our process works:

  1. Set up your user id and password to begin the process. At this point you will pay the submission price of $9.95 to set up your account and letter files.
  2. Write your letter. 
    1. If you need some ideas for content, check out our examples tab.
    2. Do not be surprised to find this process producing strong emotions as you express deep feelings that may have never found language up until now. 
    3. Your account is set up so that you can come back and edit or change the letter until you are completely satisfied. So start TODAY. You can finish it at any time. 
    4. We'll even send you an email as deadline for the current publication nears so you can be sure to get yours in on time.
  3. Once you are satisfied with your letter, hit SUBMIT to include it in the next printing!
  4. We will then:
    1. print your letter on beautiful stationary in a legible and graceful “handwriting” font, and,
    2. include a letter from US explaining:
      1. how you have honored your Mom and,
      2. that we will be publishing your letter,
      3. an image of the book cover, and
      4. expected publication and delivery dates.
  5. You will give us specific shipping directions for the letter and we will send it either to:
    1. YOU
      1. if you wish to deliver it personally, or,
      2. if your Mom has passed and you want to have it for yourself or another loved one. 
    2. YOUR MOM DIRECTLY as a wonderful surprise in the mail! We will send you an email as a heads-up that it has been shipped.
  6. We print new volumes when we have 200 – 300 pages of letters approved and ready for press. You will receive an email:
    1. as the deadline approaches if you are in EDIT mode,
    2. when the volume your letter is in goes to press.
  7. You have no obligation to order a copy of the book. Still, we have priced the books to be very affordable. Also, we have structured our “up front” pricing for multiple volumes to give you an incentive to get a copy for yourself, your honoree, and others who might want a copy.
